Milk Paint

Hello and welcome, I been away with so many projects to do at the shop, as many of you know one of my fav paints to work with is Chalk Paint, but finally after reading so much about Milk Paint decided to use it for the first time! yey me!
I bought  Old-fashioned  Milk Paint, black, Salem Red, Slate and Lexington Green. The first one I used was Salem Red and really it is so easy to use! mix according with the directions on the package, I used one part of powder paint and one part of water, make sure you do mix it well with a spatula, using warm water. Paint as usual, it will dry really fast, I only needed one coat with great coverage. Let the paint dry ans seat for a day or two, then give the piece a generous coat of furniture oil, I used 3inOne with great results, wipe of with a clean lent free cloth the excess and let it dry for another day, that's all!
I couldn't be happier with the results on my piece, I love the texture and vibrant colors they do offer. Happy painting!
